Promotion Policy

Over a trimester, a cadet is graded in all of their classes and also graded on their leadership in NJROTC (i.e., uniform, PT, etc.). This is put in all together and is looked at to see if that cadet is eligible for promotion. Here is the list for those requirements. What follows immediately after is the reading list required for book reports on promotion to Chief Petty Officer or higher.

Promotion Matrix

The Promotion Matrix is an up- to- date form that tells the cadets everything they have done to work towards their next promotion. In order to find a certain cadet/ change which matrix you’re looking at, click the tabs at the bottom of your screen.
